Concurrent sessions of Languard
Please add the ability to Allow concurrent sessions of GFI LanGuard to run when administrators are remote desktoped into the server running Languard. Currently only one session is allowed to run and makes multitasking difficult with other admins.
GFI LanGuard 12 has been officially released

I would like to see concurrent sessions working as well. Has this simply been dropped as a feature to implement?
It's still not possible to have concurrent sessions
The deployment approach is different.
Each administrator would have his own LanGuard installed, and he can use it as he wishes.
All of the LanGuard installs (we call them sites) would push data to the same database and reporting for the entire network would be carried out using the new web management console.
This is also good for scalability purposes.
Also please note that the same license can be used on all of the sites, (assuming that the combined protected nodes is correct)

Now that version 12 has been released, can someone confirm, whether more than on LanGuard console (for more than one person to trigger remediation tasks) can be open?
The web based interface works with only the newer version (i.e. 12), however a supported upgrade is available and also databases will be compatible.

Will the web-based user interface work with 11.4 versions?

I would like to know if this functionality has been rolled out yet and if so how it can be accessed. In your previous message you slated a late 2015 release with a Beta release "in the upcoming months" and this was nearly a year ago.

It would be usefule to be able to open multiple instances of the Languard console. We have more than one administrator and currently only one person can view the languard colsole ata a time. This might also be a feature of a remote console on a workstation.

Totally agree. We split the patching of servers among our team and only being able to have one person logged in to the console is very frustrating. Especially for an Enterprise level solution/tool.

Ideally, DB on the SQL server and the console install on the admin workstations for there access. Much like Sophos Enterprise Console arrangement we currently use. Just makes it easier for my staff. Currently, we have to IM each other when we go in to work with our OUs and send patches out.

I think that it is crazy that this limitation is present. We have 1300 seats and the duties are split among several admins. It is very frustrating to have only one admin able to log in at a time.

A web interface for GFI LanGuard is currently work in progress at the development team and we expect it to be available to public in the second half of 2015.
The new web console will provide support for the following:
- Easy remote access
- Ability to centralize results and generate reports across multiple LanGuard installations
- Improved scalability
- User roles and permissions
- Concurrent access for multiple users
A BETA version will be available in the coming months. We will notify here when the BETA program starts so that everybody interested can join and provide us feedback if we are on the right track with this.
