It is possible to disable scanning for non Microsoft patches from the scanning profile used with the scheduled scan that has automatic deployment enabled.

Go the Configuration > Scanning Profiles Editor; selected the desired scanning profile; go to Vulnerability Assessment Options tab > Patches tab > group patches by target software and unselect Oracle, Adobe and Mozilla.

The option to have one check to disable auto-deployment of all non-Microsoft patches will be available too in a future update.

Update: The option to enable/disable automatic approval of non Microsoft patches is now available in LANguard 9.5. It was released yesterday (10-Jun-2010) via LANguard auto-updating system.
