It is going to be very good to be able to have groups of emails in Auto Replies , we need to insert our email list once ordered in groups ( a group can make me able to send certain message to certain emails ) , also we need to be able to activate group and not have ONLY one check box to activate message for all , thanks .2 votes
Currently the user notification mail for filter actions contains all email recipients in the to field of the form and certainly in the address field of the email client.
All will receive the same notification email, even if they are to, cc or bcc recipients.
This behavior does not meet the Intention of bcc.
Any recipient should get a seperate notification.1 vote

*.ace compressed files ignored, although they contained a *.exe virus.
I assume there are other compressed files as well.
I think it shouldn't be bad to be able to block compressed files if GFI is not able to read these files.1 vote
ace compression is currently not supported.
GFI MailEssentials supports a wide variety of compressed formats including zip, 7z, gzip, rar
AV engines on the other hand can support additional formats.
I suggest to enable a blocking file rule for ace.

We have had the "opportunity" to wait in your lengthy support queues multiple times recently. The on-hold music is of poor sound quality, with frequent very-loud static bursts. Since you're not staffing your call-center to answer support calls in a reasonable time, at least fix the on hold music by changing your codec, or changing the music to better handle the compression of your current codec. We need to have ONLY 1 report to be sent daily to email account's user contains digest from all GFI sections ( Spam / content / security ) showing why emails were been deleted or quarantined instead of single mail notification per processed email message , this will be very much more effective .1 vote
There are various reports that can be received on blocked emails and individual emails can be disabled.
You can also for spam emails enable a daily report see Quarantine Reports http://manuals.gfi.com/en/mailessentials/content/administrator/quarantine/quarantine_options.htm
If you need such a report I would suggest to enable Quarantine RSS as it offers the ability to view it from any device and offer the ability to approve emails or completely delete them.
With multiple attachment filter rules, whitelist/exclusions it would be hard to find out which rules apply if a email comes through.
With a policy tested one would input the sender and or recipients of the email as well as any body text and this would highlight which rule hit the engine.1 vote
