How can we improve Kerio Connect?

Automatic backup of mailserver.cfg or option to backup JUST configuration files

Our Kerio Connect mailstore is larger than 1 TB, therefore the built in backup just isn't a good option. Takes forever to complete one full, and by the time that is done, it is time to make another full ...

Would be great if the mailserver.cfg and users.cfg file would back itself up automatically after any change is made, or create an option to backup JUST configuration files and not the store.

I think the .bak file should be created when the administrator logs out (or is logged out due to inactivity).

Kerio says this is "expected behavior".

The problem, of course, is that any reasonable person would expect the ".bak" file to be what they'd restore if you needed to.

Under the "expected behavior", the bak file is nearly useless. It's difficult to even think of a scenario where you'd use it!

Also: why on earth would the system creating a zero length file on a crash NOT be considered a bug????
